Unabashed pop sounds today from Screaming Peaches – the re-branded entity of London indie starlets Movie. Taking some 80s synth influences, spinning them around a dirty little guitar hook and fleshing the whole thing out with some lovely bleached pop stylings, their new single Sad Kid is a cracking little tour de force that I’ve played a good number of times since I heard it earlier today.
Looking forward to hearing more of these guys in the future.
