13 – Veruca Salt

Short post today. Here’s Veruca Salt – 90s alt-rock stalwarts from Chicago who had completely passed me by until now. I’m not entirely sure how that happened, but I guess there were certain US groups from back in the day that never translated across to middle England. And none of my usually-reliable friends who were able to introduce me.

So I’ve got a lot of catching up to do, but in the meantime here’s their latest – Laughing in the Sugar Bowl from their 2015 comeback album Ghost Notes. And it’s glorious.

Better late to the party than never, I guess.
